Optical Measurement Techniques for LED Clusters and LED Safety
The development of lighting and signalling solutions using LED cluster technology has raised a number of issues concerning optical measurement equipment and techniques. This presentation will provide an illustration of some of the problems recently encountered in the optical measurement of railway signals, and how these problems have been addressed. Information will be provided on the development of a Best Practice Guide for the Optical Measurement of LED Clusters, which has been developed by the LED Clusters focused interest group hosted by NPL's Optical Radiation Measurement Club
